Never used a wallet?
You're five minutes away.

Koridor lets you get paid in USDC — a digital dollar— straight into a wallet only you control. Here's the whole setup, honestly explained. Forward this page to anyone who needs it.

Get set up

1

Pick a wallet app (free)

A wallet is an app that holds your digital dollars. Any of these work — download from your app store, nowhere else:

Trust Wallet · MetaMask · Coinbase Wallet · Rainbow

They're free, take two minutes to set up, and work on any phone.

2

Guard your recovery phrase like cash

The app gives you 12 secret words. Write them on paper and hide them the way you'd hide money — because they are money. Anyone with the words controls the wallet; without them, nobody (not the app, not Koridor, not anyone) can recover it if you lose your phone. With them, you can restore it on any device.

Nobody legitimate will ever ask for these words. Not us, not "support", not a buyer. Anyone asking is a thief.

3

Copy your address

Your wallet has an address — it starts with 0xand is 42 characters. It's like your account number: safe to share, impossible to steal money from. Tap your wallet's Receive button and copy it.

4

Create your payment link

Go to the link builder, paste your address, set your amount. No signup, no email, no fees during the pilot. Share the link on WhatsApp or Instagram.

5

Get paid, watch it settle

Your buyer pays from their own wallet. The money goes directly to your address — Koridor never holds it — and your link becomes a receipt both of you can verify on the public blockchain. Track everything in your invoices.

Questions everyone asks

What exactly is USDC?+

USDC is a digital dollar: a token where each unit is backed by one real US dollar held in reserve by Circle, a regulated US company. 1 USDC = 1 USD. It's how millions of people hold and send dollars from a phone without a US bank account.

What is Base? Why does the network matter?+

Digital dollars move on networks. Koridor uses Base — fast (seconds), and nearly free (fractions of a cent per payment). Your wallet address works on Base automatically; just make sure whoever pays you sends USDC on Base. Every Koridor payment page says this clearly to your buyer.

How do I turn USDC into naira?+

Today: transfer your USDC to a licensed Nigerian exchange (for example Quidax or Busha — both SEC-registered) and sell it for naira to your bank account. Takes minutes.

Coming: receiving naira directly— you choose it when creating the invoice, and it arrives without you doing anything. We'll announce it loudly.

Also worth knowing: many sellers keep their USDC as dollars on purpose — it holds value while the naira moves.

What does Koridor cost?+

Nothing during the pilot. No signup fee, no percentage taken from your money — your payment goes wallet-to-wallet, so there is no point where we couldtake a cut. When we introduce paid plans, they'll be flat software fees, announced in advance, never skimmed from your payments.

How do I know this isn't a scam?+

Check our claims against how the product actually behaves:

— We never ask for your recovery phrase or private key. Ever.
— Your money never touches Koridor— it moves from your buyer's wallet to yours. There's no "Koridor balance" to freeze or run away with.
— Every receipt links to the public blockchain record. You can verify every payment yourself, without trusting us.

Healthy habit: be suspicious of everyone, including us. This page is designed to survive that suspicion.

What if I lose my phone?+

Your money isn't on your phone — it's on the blockchain. Install your wallet app on a new phone, enter your 12 recovery words, and everything is exactly where you left it. This is why step 2 matters more than any other step.

Is this legal in Nigeria?+

Holding and trading digital assets is regulated, not banned: the SEC licenses Nigerian exchanges, and cashing out through licensed platforms keeps you inside that system. Koridor itself never holds your money and never touches naira — it's software that helps wallets talk to each other. (We're builders, not your lawyers — for business-specific advice, ask a professional.)

My buyer sent the wrong amount. What happens?+

The payment page asks for the exact amountso we can match the payment to your invoice automatically. If your buyer sends a different amount, the money still arrives in your wallet — nothing is lost — but the invoice won't mark itself paid. Check your wallet balance directly, and create a fresh link for next time.
